Leon Burrow, age 85 of Blytheville, Arkansas, formerly of Milan, passed away May 15, 2021. Mr. Burrow was born in Milan to Floyd and Mary Burrow. He graduated from McCallie Preparatory School in Chattanooga, Lambuth University and Vanderbilt Law School. He was a former deputy prosecutor and practiced law in Blytheville until his death.
Mr. Burrow was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Claire Burrow Hudson. He leaves his wife of 63 years, Ellen Hastings Burrow, of the home and one son, Lee Burrow of Blytheville. He leaves four grandsons, Landon Burrow, John Burrow (Erica) Zachary Hudson, two great-grandsons, Chase Hudson and Ian Burrow.
Mr. Burrow was a 32nd degree mason and a member of the AI Chymia Shrine Temple, past president of the Blytheville Bar Association and the Mississippi County Bar Association.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2 PM at Bodkin Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Yarbrough officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday from 1 2 PM at the funeral home.
