Linda Karen Denton, age 71 of Milan, passed away on April 14, 2021 at NHC Healthcare in Milan. She was born in Humboldt on July 12, 1949 to Robert and Eloise King Ingram who preceded her in death. She was educated in the Milan School System graduating in the Class of 1967 and after graduation, she received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She worked for many years for ITT in Milan and then worked for Whirlpool in Jackson. Linda was a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Milan. Linda is survived by her husband Danny Denton of Milan, two children Lee Bass (Elizabeth) of Milan and Heather Bass of Milan, two step children John Denton of Winter Springs, FL and Suzanne Bingham (Dr. Ron) of Jackson, two sisters Betty Lou Pruett of Milan and Diane Cole (Terry) of Newbern and nine grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10 AM at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday evening from 5 8 PM and on Saturday morning from 9 10 AM at the funeral home.
