Memorial services for Linda Faye Smith, age 76 of Trezevant, will take place at 6:00 PM Monday, December 2, 2024, at Bodkin Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be Monday from 4:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.

Linda was born February 15, 1948, to the late James Ward Hall and Vada Ellen Ham Hall in Decaturville, TN. She passed away November 26, 2024, at Milan General Hospital.

Linda was member of New Haven Baptist Church in Milan. She loved her church family and was very involved in church activities. Linda was insurance agent for 25 years working through Walt Disney World. She was also proud to be an ordained minister.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Smith of Trezevant; brothers, Kenneth Smith and wife Layne of Newbern, TN and James Hall of Missouri; sister, Diane Breslan of Illinios; grandchildren, James Welch and Carolyn Smith; and great grandchildren Eden Smith and Aurora Statton.

This is a person who is thoughtful of your rights and feelings; one who is sympathetic and understanding. A friend is willing to listen when needed and advise when asked. He is a person you can trust with confidence that your trust will not be betrayed. He is truthful, tactful and shows respect for your opinions even though he may disagree. A friend does not display traits of envy, jealousy or hostility. He is happy when you are happy and sad when you are sad.
