Funeral service for Ms. Lois Laverne Medlin Walker, age 82 of Milan, will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 11am at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Providence Cemetery in Crockett Mills. Family visitation will be held on Sunday evening after 6pm at the funeral home. Ms. Walker was the retired owner of Medlin's Grocery. Surviving Family: Sisters - Louise Perciful, Judy Joyner and Brenda Pullock 6 - Grandchildren 20 - Great Grandchildren 14 - Great Great Grandchildren Ms. Walker was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Medlin and Vaughn Walker, a son Jimmy Medlin, one daughter Linda Rimmer, one brother Bobby Melton and a sister Lou Ann Melton.
