Funeral service for Ms. Margaret Evelyn Irby, age 90 of Gibson, will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 2 pm at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Double Springs Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday evening after 5 pm at the funeral home. She was born on February 6, 1929 to Charlie and Beatrice Spencer Crafton in Husburg, TN. She was a member of the Sitka Church of Christ and she graduated from Gibson High School. Ms. Irby is survived by five children William Morgan Irby, Jr. of LaVergne, TN, Patricia Cash (Jerry) of Woodbury, TN, Tanya Scruggs of Milan, Doris Williams of Lexington and Gena Curry (Tim) of Gibson, one sister Polly Bogle of Gibson, twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Morgan Irby, Sr., two brothers James Crafton and Larry Crafton and two sisters Linda Grant and Dot Seavers.
