Marsha Anne Holmes passed away on August 20, 2025, at her residence in Milan after a brief illness. She was born in Milan on March 8, 1939, to her parents Marshall and Ruth Blankenship Bledsoe. Marsha graduated from Milan High School in 1957 and soon married the love of her life, Robert Holmes, and together they began a lifelong journey of raising their family.

Marsha ran Mar Sans Florist in Milan for many years before Bobby's job at ITT transferred them to Corinth, MS. Upon his retirement, they moved back to Milan and remained there until her passing. Marsha was a faithful member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Milan.

She is survived by her husband Robert Holmes of Milan, a son Rob Holmes (Carmen) of Lakeland, TN, one grandson Reese Holmes (Sara Beth) of Tampa, FL, a niece Allison Wilson (Mark) of Milan and great niece and nephew Haley Webb and Denver Armstrong. In addition to her parents, Marsha was preceded in death by her sister Sandra Beasley.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 5 PM at Bodkin Funeral Home with visitation with the family to begin at 4 PM.

Memorials may be directed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
