Martha K. Thomas, 94, moved to her heavenly home on March 28, 2022. Mrs. Thomas is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Spencer Thomas, as well as her sister Opal, and her parents Marshall Green and Mrs. Jenny May Cash. She was a lifelong resident of Gibson County and a member of the First Baptist Church of Milan. She was an avid hunter and loved to travel widely. Mrs. Thomas and her husband lived in their home in Milan since 1955 and owned and operated the Wolf Creek Oil Company until retirement. She will be buried alongside her beloved husband, sister, and parents, and will be laid to rest in the Bradford City Cemetery on April 1, 2022, at 1:00 PM. The procession from Bodkin Funeral Home to the cemetery will be leaving at 12:30 PM Friday. There will be a visitation on Thursday, March 31st from 3:00-4:00 PM at the Bodkin Funeral home. Covid protocols will be in place and masks required during the visitation and graveside service. Mrs. Thomas will be missed by her many cousins and their spouses and children. We would like to express special thanks to her caregivers Connie and Debbie for their amazing care. She is loved dearly; may she rest in peace.
