Memorial service for Mary Elizabeth Seavers, age 82 of Milan, will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lavinia. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday from 9 11 AM at the funeral home. Mary was born on December 24, 1938 in Earl Park, IN to Roy and Elsie Collins Hembree. She was a member of the Milan First United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons Greg Seavers (Dorry) of Milan and Mike Seavers (Pamela) of Woodbine, IA, a sister Alice Williamson of Watseka, IL, eight grandchildren Mark Seavers (Jennifer), Christopher Seavers (Tammy), Brandon Seavers (Julie), Amber Whitener, Eric Seavers, Breyanna Seavers, Haley Seavers and Samantha Seavers, seven great grandchildren Mark Tyler, Morgan Seavers, Karissa Seavers, Natalie Seavers, McKinley Seavers Sophia Seavers and Everleigh Seavers and one great grandson arriving soon. Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Larry Seavers, a brother Marvin Hembree and four sisters Norma Jean Hembree, Catherine Gocken, Doris Ortman and Reba Vangundy.
