Graveside service for Mary Laverne Vaughn, age 97 of Milan, will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 1 PM at the Lathems Chapel Cemetery near Medina. There will no visitation at the funeral home. She was born on October 6. 1924 to John and Louella Caveness Cotton in the Lavinia community. Mrs. Vaughn was a member of the of the Lathems Chapel Baptist Church and she was retired as a LPN from the City of Milan Hospital. She is survived by her daughter Carol Matheny (Morris) of Bradford and one grandson Joey Hatcher (Billy Chadwick) of Houston, TX and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by her husband Holland Vaughn, a daughter Marilyn Golightly and several brothers and sisters.
