Funeral services for Mr. Max Austin Ing, age 81 of Milan, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Milan with burial to follow in the Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation with the family will take place Friday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Bodkin Funeral Home. Mr. Ing retired from the Brown Shoe Company after working many years. He was also a volunteer firefighter for 30 years at the Moore's Chapel Volunteer Fire Department. Max was a member of Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church his whole life, and served on the cemetery board at the church. Surviving Family: Sons - Max Ing and wife Sharon of Huntsville, AL, Richard Ing of Milan, and Russell Ing of Milan Grandchildren - 5 Great Grandchildren - 2 He is preceded in death by his parents, Wylie and Lorena Davis Ing, wife, Thelma Ruth Oliver Ing, and brothers, Glen and Rodney Ing. Memorials may be directed to the Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery fund.
