Obituary

We come together to celebrate the life and cherish the memories of McKenzie Corrinne Cooper, known affectionately to all as Kenzie, who passed away on February 23, 2026, in Sumter, South Carolina. Born on March 22, 2005, in Jackson, McKenzie's vibrant spirit and loving nature touched the lives of everyone she encountered.

Kenzie's journey through life was marked by her adventurous spirit and thoughtful heart. A proud graduate of Gibson County High School's class of 2023, she carried the values of her education with her as she boldly served her country. Kenzie's dedication to her role as a Separation and Promotion Technician with the US Air Force was a testament to her strong work ethic and her commitment to excellence.

Family was the cornerstone of her life. She is survived by her loving husband, Cole Cooper, who stood by her side as a partner and best friend. Her father, James Bradley, and his wife, Heather, her brothers, Jacob Bradley and Ethan Richardson, will miss the sister who brought laughter and love into their lives. Her grandparents, Deland Richardson and Lorraine, along with Linda Bradley, will cherish the memories of their granddaughter who brightened every family gathering. Kenzie's aunt, Anna Richardson, and her parents-in-law, James and Cindy Cooper, along with sisters-in-law Emma, Isabelle, and Alee Cooper, will hold dear the times they shared. Kenzie now joins her late mother, Heather Bradley, and her grandparents, Peggy Richardson and James F. Bradley, in eternal peace.

Kenzie's life was a reflection of her loving nature. She attended the Main Street Church of Christ, where she formed lasting bonds with her community. Her adventurous soul led her to explore the world, always seeking new experiences and spreading kindness wherever she went.

Her visitation will be held on Thursday evening at Bodkin Funeral Home from 5 to 8 PM and on Friday from 10 to 11 AM. The funeral service will take place at Bodkin Funeral Home on Friday at 11 AM, where friends and family will gather to honor her memory.

Kenzie's legacy is one of love, adventure, and thoughtfulness. Her impact on the world was profound, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her. As we say farewell to McKenzie Corrinne Cooper, we hold tight to the memories she leaves behind, a treasure trove of moments filled with joy, laughter, and an abundance of love.
