On Saturday, April 25, 2020, Mildred Elizabeth Law Dunn, loving wife and mother, age 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born in the Concord Community and was a long-time member of First Assembly Church in Milan, Tennessee. On September 3, 1945, she married Carlos Dunn and they raised three children in the Moore's Chapel Community. She worked as an inspector for ITT and later as a sales clerk for Miss Willie Mae's. She was active in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband of 74 1/2 years; daughter Janice; son Bobby (Chris); son Terry (Cathy); grandchildren Jennifer Maiden (Chris), Angela Dalton (Paul), and Kevin Dunn. In addition, she left her beloved great-grandchildren: AJ Maiden, Will Maiden, McCarthey Schrupp, Matthew Dalton, and Brandon Dalton. She also leaves a sister-in-law, Dot Law, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, R.L. and Jewel Law, and her brother, Robert Law. Family only visitation will be held at Bodkin Funeral Home in Milan, Tennessee followed by a 2:00 PM graveside service at Gibson County Memory Gardens, Tuesday, April 28, 2020. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, the Dementia Society of America, or First Assembly Church.
