Funeral services for Minnie "Nell" Lee Strout, age 93 of Milan, will take place at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 26, 2021, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Centerville Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will take place Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Ms. Stout was a member of First Assembly of God in Milan. She was a very strong, independent single parent that loved her family dearly. She painted, mowed, replaced plumbing, etc all on her own. She was the rock her family needed. She worked at the Milan Arsenal for over 30 years in the cafeteria. She loved working outside in her flower beds and just enjoyed being outside. Ms. Nell was a servant for the Lord all of her life. She will be deeply missed. Surviving Family: Daughter - Debbie Cloys of Milan Granddaughter - Amanda Day Great Grandchildren - Connor Day and Carson Day of Milan Ms. Nell is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Will & Mrs. Virgie Manns Seavers, a brother, Hollis Seavers, and a sister, Elsie Bryant.
