Funeral services for Nelle "Boots" Presson, age 97 of Milan, will take place at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 9, 2021, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Trezevant Cemetery. Visitation with the family will take place Saturday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Presson was born in Trezevant on December 28, 1923, to the late Jesse and Hassie Porter Williams. She has lived in Milan most of her life and has been a life-long member of Main Street Church of Christ in Milan. Mrs. Presson retired from the Milan Army Ammunition Plant after working there for several years. Surviving Family: Daughter - Paula Hazelwood and husband Walter of Bradford Brother - Joe Williams Sister - Rachel Arrington Daughter-in-Law - Cindy Presson Grandchildren - Lisa Smith and husband Robin, Mike Presson and wife DeDe, Tracy Bryant and husband Michael, and John Hazelwood and wife Mandy Great Grandchildren - 7 Great-Great Grandchildren - 4 Besides her parents, Mrs. Presson is preceded in death by her husband, Cullen Presson; son, John David (Cindy) Presson; infant son, William Cullen Presson; brothers, Jesse Williams, Sam Dean Williams, Jerry Williams, Robert Williams, Bill Williams, Paul Porter Williams, and Charles Williams; and sisters, Arline Williams, Tommie Jean Isenberg, and Martha Nell Reed.
