Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Vera Fisher, age 91 of Milan, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan. Visitation with the family will take place Friday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Nellie lived in Milan most of her life. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Milan. Mrs. Fisher was a retired seamstress and homemaker. Surviving Family: Sons - Wayne Fisher and wife Diane of Paris, TN and Dale Fisher of Milan Grandchildren - Chad Fisher and wife Trina of Cottage Grove, TN, Kristin Loucks of Humboldt, TN, and Kari Eubanks and husband Brad of Milan Great Grandchildren - Ethan Loucks, Moriah Turner, Kassie Eubanks, Jon Eubanks, and Kora Fisher Mrs. Nellie is preceded in death by her parents, Claude Vernon Hicks and Eula Belle Cooper Hicks, husband, Ausbon Fisher, brother, C.H. Hicks, and sisters, Faye Fuller and Francis Foust. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
