Obituary

Mrs. Nema Clenney, 98, died peacefully on the evening of June 28, 2020. Nema was born on April 5, 1922, to Herbert F. and Ozie Kennedy Curry. She was born in Scotts Hill, Tennessee but lived most of her life in Milan, Tennessee. Nema is survived by her granddaughter Carla Clenney Workman, great granddaughter, Alexandria Clenney McCuistan, great grandson Cade Clenney and great great grandsons Braydon and Landon Hendrix. Predeceasing her death were her parents and her siblings Paul Curry, Marcella Curry Brown, Helen Curry Clenney and Velma Curry. Also Predeceasing her were her husband, Elco Clenney, a son, Rayburn Clenney, and her grandson, Jeff Clenney. Nema was an avid outdoorswoman who loved fishing, hunting, and gardening. She was a long-time member of First United Pentecostal Church in Humboldt, Tennessee. A private family memorial will be held at a later date to be determined.
