Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Powell, age 70 of Milan, will be held at 11am Thursday, September 22, 2016, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home. Norma was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church near Milan, where she played the piano for over 40 years. She retired from the Milan Country Club where she worked as the clubhouse manager. Surviving Family: Husband - David Powell of Milan Son - Brett Powell and wife Amy of Milan Daughter - Tiffany Griffin of Germantown, TN Grandchildren - Allison and Haley Powell, Madeline, Maris, and Mac Griffin. She is preceded in death by her parents, Abner Clone and Florence Mai McCartney, son-in-law, Tye Griffin, and grandchild, Matthew Powell. Memorials may be directed to the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
