Norma Dean Scroggins, age 81 of Milan, passed away on July 23, 2019, at Morningside Of Jackson after an extended illness. She was born on March 16, 1938, to Hardy and Mozelle Raines Morgan in Dyer, TN. She was a member of the Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Milan and she was retired from the Milan Arsenal. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019, at 2 pm at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday evening from 6 9 pm and on Friday from 12 2 pm at Bodkin Funeral Home. Besides her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husbands Harry Samuel Cole and James Albert Scroggins, a daughter Beverly Jo Cole, two brothers Robert Morgan and Danny Morgan and a sister Joann Zarceor. She is survived by a son Sam Cole of Milan, a daughter Nancy Hampton of Atwood, a step-daughter Charlotte Scroggins of Chattanooga, one brother Larry Morgan (Linda) of Fruitland, one sister Doris Holt (Arland) of Rutherford, three grandchildren Timmy Pollard, Melissa Halbrook and Bethany Jo Elam, two great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
