Patricia Ann Slencsak McGuire

Pat McGuire, age 83 of Milan, passed away on November 12, 2023.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and 10:30 am until service time Friday.

She was born on March 22, 1940, in Ernest, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Kathryn Slencsak. Pat is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bob McGuire, her son Bobby McGuire (Paula) of Southaven, Mississippi and Kathy Schneider (Jeff) of Henderson, Tennessee, three grandchildren, Megan Green (Bryan) of Hernando, Mississippi, Rob Minyard of Oakland, Tennessee and Allison Gordon (TJ) of Southaven, Mississippi, four great-grandchildren, Mason Green, Harper Minyard, Colson Gordon, Olivia Gordon her sister Marlene Campbell and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Kathryn Slencsak, and her brothers Joe Slencsak and Paul Slencsak.

Pat was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was instrumental in the founding of St. Matthews Catholic Church. She retired as a jewelry manager at WalMart in Humboldt. Memorials may be directed to The American Heart Association or The American Lung Association.
