Patsy Perry was born in Milan June 7, 1947 and died July 19, 2015 at her home in Three Way, TN. She was the owner of McNail Insurance Agency for 26 years, opened Garden Pleasures Gift Shop & Tea Room in 1995 and after 20 years, closed it at the end of last month. During her business career in Milan, she was awarded the Steve Marsh Business of the Year for Garden Pleasures in 2006, and was recognized as Milan's Woman of the Year in 2009. Patsy was instrumental in starting the Milan Downtown Association that was the start of the downtown revitalization movement. She was a member of Milan First United Methodist Church. Patsy was born the daughter of the late Raymond Fly and the late Marguerite Fly Mills. She is also preceded in death by first husband, Randy Moore and infant son, Jeromy Moore. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Jere Perry, son John Moore (Katie) of Milan, daughter Jessica Nelson (Chris) of Milan, stepson James Perry (Michelle) of Olive Branch, MS, stepdaughter Teresa Perry of Land O Lakes, FL, grandchildren Victoria Perry, Jack Moore, Whitney Moore, Caroline Perry, Connor Perry, Alex Nelson, and sister Kay Wiley of Opelika, AL. The family requests that memorials contributions be made to St. Jude, March of Dimes, or Leukemia Foundation. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Bodkin Funeral Home in Milan from 9am until the Celebration of Life Service at 11am.
