Patricia Dunaway "Patsy" Walker passed away peacefully with family at her side on February 16, 2020, in Milan, TN at the age of 83. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents James Clifford Dunaway and Irene Surratt Dunaway, her brother James William Dunaway, and her Aunt Mauvine Surratt all from Corinth, MS and her daughter Michele Dunaway "Shelley" Walker. She is survived by Johnny Wilfred Walker (her husband of 58 years), son John Walker, daughter-in-law Suzy Walker and her grandchildren Katie Walker and Sam Walker. Patsy was a lifelong member of the Methodist church where she served in the choir for over 40 years in Corinth, MS, Tallassee, AL and Milan, TN. Patsy played piano for childrens choirs, volunteered as a pink lady in hospitals, volunteered with the American Cancer Society and sponsored "Shelleys Walkers" Relay for Life Team each year. She volunteered at the Mustard Seed in Milan and has also served as a reading buddy in Milan. Patsy was a lady who loved people and was a friend to everyone she met. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to the church of your choice or the American Cancer Society, in her honor. Visitation is planned for Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at Bodkin Funeral Home in Milan from 12:00-2:00 followed by a memorial service. A second visitation is planned for Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at the First United Methodist Church in Corinth, MS. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 followed by a memorial service.
