Funeral service for Mr. Paul David Wallace, age 76 of Milan, will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 3 pm with burial to follow in the Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday from 1 3 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Wallace was born on January 8, 1943 to Clint and Mildred Arnold Wallace. He was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Milan where he served as a Deacon.
In his early adult life, he served as a volunteer fireman at various fire departments. Then in 1977, he began working as a full time fireman with the Milan Fire Department. He worked with the Milan Fire Department for 31 years and at the time of his retirement he was serving the department as Fire Chief.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Wallace who passed away in 2017. Mr. Wallace is survived by two daughters Paula Taylor (Craig) of Nashville and Pam Yutz (Richard) of Tampa, FL, a brother Rev. Richard Dean Wallace (Mary) of Charleston, MO, three grandchildren Chad Lewis of Milan, Kyle Lewis (Morgan) of Milan and Cristal Parker of Tampa, FL, and two great-grand children Max Lewis and Gavin Lewis both of Milan.
