Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Carlene Allmon, age 73 of Milan, will take place at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Peggy was born October 5, 1949, to the late Hugh Carmon Curry and Verna Rimmer Curry. She passed away December 23, 2022, at NHC Healthcare in Milan. Peggy was a dedicated member of Moores Chapel United Methodist Church. She worked at ITT in assembly for several years before retiring from Walmart. She will be deeply missed as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Surviving Family: Husband - Raymond Allmon of Milan, TN Son - Donald Ray Allmon and wife Mandy of Milan, TN Daughter - Kelly Renae Weaver of Medina, TN Brother - Robert Leon Curry and wife Cathy of Gibson, TN Sister - Laura Voncile McCartney of Milan, TN Grandchildren - Daniel Ray (Taylor) Allmon, Brandon Louis (Sarah) Allmon, Jacob Riley Bryant, Matthew Paul Allmon, and Levi Davis Bryant Great-Grandchildren - Grayson Louis Allmon, Kaylee Ann Allmon, Everleigh Nicole Allmon, and Raelynn Mae Allmon Besides her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by a brother, James Travis (Shirley) Curry.
