Funeral service for Mrs. Peggy Marie Burrow Chester, age 87 of Milan, will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 3pm at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday from 1 - 3pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Chester was a member of the Milan First Baptist Church. She was a retired school teacher having taught in the school systems in the Memphis area. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Edgar Chester of Milan, two daughters, Debbie Ball of Milan and Leah Powell (Steve) of Memphis, four grandchildren, Tressa Flowers Floyd, Stephen Roy Powell, Marie Ball Jones and Emily Ball Humphreys and ten great grandchildren. Mrs. Chester is preceded in death by her parents R. J. and Marie McCutcheon Burrow, Sr and a brother Richard Burrow, Jr. Memorials may be directed to the Building Fund at First Baptist Church in Milan.
