Funeral service for Rachel Maxine Burress, age 87 of Trenton, will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 2 pm at the Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Milan with burial to follow in the Concord Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday evening from 5 8 pm at Bodkin Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 1 2 pm at the church. Rachel was born on November 22, 1932 to John and Nina Walker Neal near Bradford. She was a member of the Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church and she was retired from the Milan Shirt Factory. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Burress, one brother Raymond Neal and a sister Opal Johnson. Rachel is survived by a son Danny Burress (Debbie), three grandsons Joseph Daniel Burress (Jennifer) of Trenton, Joshua Lynn Burress (Jenny) of Humboldt and Justin Lee Burress of Trenton, seven great grandchildren Sonya Burress (Jason Steele), Dakota Burress, Evan Burress, Mason Burress, Ella Burress, Samuel Burress and Easton Burress and one great-great grandson Lucas Steele.
