Funeral service for Mr. Ray Thomas Cannon, age 85 of Milan, will be held at 11am Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan. Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday evening from 5 until 9pm at the funeral home. Mr. Cannon was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ and retired from the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Current officers of the Tennessee Highway Patrol will serve as pallbearers. Surviving Family: Wife - Frances Cannon Sons - Jeffery Philip Cannon of Milan and Thomas Michael Cannon of Nashville Sister - Christine Luckey Grandchildren - Kelley Cannon Mitchell, Carrie Cannon Cantrell, and Drew Martin Cannon In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
