Reatha Gail Ward, a beacon of love and friendship, passed away on December 15, 2025, after an extended illness. Born on June 30, 1956, in the warm community of Kenton, Tennessee, Reatha grew up with the values of kindness and consideration that would come to define her life. She departed this world in Jackson, Tennessee, surrounded by the family whom she cherished deeply.

Reatha's life was marked by an unwavering dedication to her family and friends. She was the loving mother of Corey Gabel and his wife Whitney, Jesse Shaun Woods, who preceded her in death, and the adored grandmother to Rachel Gabel, Corey Gabel, Jessie Gabel, Marley Gabel, Skye Youngblood, and Layke Clayton. Her joy was further multiplied with the arrival of her great-grandchildren, Lynleigh and Alyssa Gabel, who brought her immeasurable happiness in her later years.

Throughout her life, Reatha was known for her thoughtful nature and engaging personality. Her presence was a gift to those who had the pleasure of knowing her, as she always put the needs of others before her own. Her warm smile and genuine interest in the lives of those around her made her a cherished member of her community and a dear friend to many.
