Mrs Reba E. Stanton, age 89 of Atwood, TN, residing in Sardis, MS, went home to be with the Lord while her family was by her side on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. She leaves behind one sister, Elizabeth Blackwell of Milan, TN, a daughter, Judy Crocker (Jerry) of Sardis, MS, two stepsons, Mike (Pat) Stanton of Atwood, TN and Danny (Melinda) Stanton of Milan, TN. Eleven grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, W.O. and Verna Jenkins, husband, Loyd Stanton, son Donnie Shackelford, and two sisters, Margaret Vinson and Mary Smith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and exceptional mother-in-law, faithful member of Howse Baptist Church in Atwood, TN. Reba loved the Lord with all her heart and soul. In lieu of flowers, Reba requested that donations be made to National Parkinson Foundation, 1501 NW 9th Ave/Bob Hope Road, Miami, FL 33146-1494 A Celebration of Life Service, with Chaplain Kevin Smith officiating, will be held March 19, 2022, at Bodkin Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be, Jason Gammons, Justin Simmons, Mike Stanton, Michael Stanton, David Blackwell, and Danny Mitchell with Jonathan Stanton and Dee Mitchell serving as honorary pallbearers. Family visitation will begin at 9:30 AM until 10:00 AM and the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM service time at the funeral home.
