Funeral service for Regina Rose Gordon, age 84 of Milan, will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 2 PM, at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Double Springs Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday evening from 5 8 PM and on Wednesday From 12 2 PM at the funeral home. Regina was born on October 11, 1938 in Gibson to Hubert and Minnie Stavely Johnson. She worked many years as an agent and various other responsibilities for the Lee Adams Insurance Company. Regina was a member of the Milan First United Methodist Church. She is survived by three children, Donald Gordon (Marty) of Jackson, Larry Gordon of Milan and Patricia Mayfield (Jeff) of Milan, six grandchildren Stephen Gordon, Phillip Gordon, Greg Gordon, Christina Lemons, Ryan Mayfield and Eddie Johnson and nine great grandchildren Samuel Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Mary Sauls, Anna Gordon, Nathan Gordon, Collin Gordon, Riley Gordon, Benjamin Gordon and Samantha Gordon. Regina was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years Oscar Harold Gordon, her parents Hubert and Minnie Johnson and four brothers Calvin Johnson, Cale Johnson, Gerald Johnson and Robert Johnson.
