Funeral services for Mr. Rocky Lee Cook, age 62 of Atwood, will take place at 12:00 PM Thursday, December 13, 2018, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Howse Baptist Cemetery in Atwood. Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Rocky was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He lived in Atwood most of his life where he attended Howse Baptist Church. He worked as a truck driver before becoming ill. Surviving Family: Father - Haskel Cook and wife Dot of Atwood Mother - Wanda Vawter Ervin of Atwood Son - Rhett Cook of Atwood Daughters - Denise Henderson and husband Danny of Jackson, and Emmie Jager of Atwood Brothers - Kent Cook and wife Melissa of Atwood, and David Cook of Atwood Grandchildren - 9 He is preceded in death by his sister, Billie Kay Rice.
