Funeral services for Rosemary Oakley Witherington, age 67 of Jackson, will take place at 2:00 PM Friday, January 3, 2025, at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow at Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan. Visitation with the family will take place Friday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Rosemary was born July 24, 1957, in Milan to the late Aaron Oakley and Sarah Robinson Oakley West. Rosemary was saved and baptized at Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Milan. She was a member of Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson. She was a certified pharmacy tech and worked at Regional Hospital.

Rosemary is survived by her husband of 30 years, Daniel Witherington; brother, Jim Oakley and wife Emily; sister-in-law, Sue Ellen Moore; nieces, Rachel Russom (Daniel), and Jess Moore-Oakes (Katt); nephews, Ryan Oakley and Mixon Moore; great nieces, Adrienne McAlexander (Arron Watson), Abigail and Ava Russom; and a great niece, Iris Watson.
