Ruby Nell
Conder
April 3, 1939 – October 26, 2025
Ruby Nell Conder, affectionately known as Ruby Nell, was called to her eternal home on October 26, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on April 3, 1939, in Gibson County, Tennessee, Ruby's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and the love she poured into her family and community. She was a beacon of generosity and kindness, whose memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Ruby's journey began as the daughter of Herman and Earline Bogle Brown. Ruby's early years were filled with the joys of country living and the strong values imparted by her parents. She graduated from Portageville High School in Portageville, Missouri, setting a foundation of diligence and perseverance that would characterize her entire life. Upon completing her education, Ruby dedicated many years of service to Emerson Electric in Humboldt, where she retired after a fulfilling career. Her work was not just a job but an opportunity to connect with and support her colleagues, many of whom became lifelong friends.
Ruby found her most profound joy in the love of her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Doyle Conder, and a nurturing mother to her sons, Mark (Tanna), Danny (Stephanie), and Scott (Geneva). Her role as a grandmother to eight grandchildren and a great-grandmother to four great-grandchildren was one she cherished deeply. Ruby's love extended to her sisters, Wonnie Watt and Delilah Hand, and she fondly remembered her late parents and brothers, John Earl Brown and Joe Don Brown.
Ruby Nell's faith was the cornerstone of her existence. For over forty-five years, she was a dedicated member of the Maranatha Baptist Church in Humboldt. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her active participation in church activities and her embodiment of Christian virtues in her daily life. Those who knew Ruby were touched by her faith-filled spirit and loving nature. She had the remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued and loved, a quality that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Ruby's life was a beautiful illustration of the Gospel she so dearly believed in, and her legacy will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
