Funeral service for Ruby Estelle Rainey, age 86 of Atwood, will be held on at 2 pm on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pisgah Cemetery in Atwood. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday from 5 8 pm and on Sunday from 12 2 pm at the funeral home. She was born in Milan on August 25, 1933 to George William and Beulah Estelle Jenkins Hayes. Ruby was a member of the Atwood First Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Rainey, seven brothers Lyndell Hayes, Raymond Hayes, Henry Hayes, James Ray Hayes, Thurman Hayes, Robert Hayes and George Haryes, Jr. She is survived by two children Randall Phillips (Debra) of Princeton, KY and Dorothy Shaver of Trenton, one brother Chester B. Hayes (Sue) of Paris, two sisters Opal Lessenberry of Lavinia and Rachel Smith (Dwayne) of Milan, two grandchildren Sonyia Rimmer (Marc) of Naples, FL and Rachelle Shults (Michael) of Sevierville, TN and three great-grandchildren Logan Rimmer and Cameron Rimmer both of Naples, FL and Vivien Shults of Sevierville.
