Graveside services for Ruth E. Samuels, age 97 of Atwood, will take place at 3:00 PM Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the Pisgah Cemetery in Atwood.

Ruth was born to the late Will and Pleasy Brigance Enzor on October 21, 1928. She passed away February 4, 2026, at NHC Milan.  Ruth was a long-time member of Atwood Cornerstone Church. She retired from the Carroll County Health Department after working over 30 years as a registered nurse.

Surviving Family:

Daughters - Kaye Eddlemon and husband Jack of Paris, TN, and Lisa Moody of Nashville, TN

Grandchildren - Paul Dobbs and wife Kelly, and Laura Daniel

Great Grandchildren - Will Dobbs, Whitten Dobbs, and Cullen Daniel

Besides her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Samuels, and three brothers, Tensil Enzor, Winsome Enzor, and Espy Enzor.
