Funeral service for Sammy Edward Burrow, age 78 of Milan, will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 12 pm at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday evening from 5 8 pm at the funeral home. He was born on November 29, 1941 in Milan to William H. and Joicy A. Gulledge Burrow. Sammy was a member of the Northside Baptist Church where he served as Chairman of the Deacons. Sammy was a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Milan where he served as Chairman of Deacons. He was retired from Milan Arsenal and he served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Odell Burrow and four sisters Leatrice Bournival, Martha Carolyn Faye, Juanita Greer and Marie Johns. He is survived by his wife Judy Burrow of Milan, two children Ron Burrow of Milan and Deana Shephard (Michael) of Humboldt, two brothers Paul Burrow and Randy Burrow both of Michigan, three grandchildren Abby Alexander of Chattanooga, Anna Alexander of Medina and Brylee Burrow of Milan and his mother in law Avadean Edmundson of Milan.
