It is with deep respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Sandy Rae Spreitzer, née Bloomfield, who left us on June 8, 2026. Born on August 10, 1971, in Morris, Illinois, Sandy lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, and a bright spirit that touched many.

Sandy devoted much of her career to working as a waitress, where her warmth and attentive nature made a lasting impression on those she served. Throughout her life, she was known not only for her hard work but also for the genuine care and friendliness she extended to everyone around her.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, David Spreitzer of Greenfield, Tennessee; her son, Zack Spreitzer of Dyersburg, Tennessee; and her daughter, Cheyenne Ciccomoscolo of Morris, Illinois. Sandy took great joy in her family, especially in the company of her cherished grandchildren, Aiden and Avery Smolkovich. Her enduring bond with her siblings—brothers Roger and Denny Bloomfield, and sisters Rita Connor, Hazel Jenkins, and Tina Sparks—was a source of strength and comfort throughout her life.

Sandy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Charles Bloomfield and Lillian Emanuelson Bloomfield, whose memories she held dear.

Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of her family and friends, yet her legacy of love, resilience, and warmth will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we honor Sandy’s memory, we remember a woman who faced life’s challenges with grace and whose presence illuminated the lives of those around her.
