Funeral service for Shelia Estelle Hamm Skerrett, age 63 of Milan, will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020, at the First General Baptist Church in Milan at 2 pm with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 5 9 pm at the church. Shelia was born on March 30, 1957, in Chicago to Richard and Bytha Pitts Hamm. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Milan. She is survived by her husband, Efraim Skerrett, Sr; two sons Efraim Skerrett, Jr and David Skerrett both of Milan; two brothers Nicky Hamm (Mary) of Milan and Richard (Meledie) Hamm, Jr. of Atwood; two sisters Luwanna Glidwell (David) of Medina and Kay Thomas (Johnny) of Milan; and four grandchildren Alexis Skerrett of Phenix City, AL, Austin Skerrett of Bradford, Guner Skerrett of Bradford and Phoenix Skerrett of Milan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers Raymond Hamm, Wayne Hamm, and Jerry Hamm; and three sisters Vicky Smith, Sherry Humphrey and Tina White Vallejo.
