Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Sue Denton, age 75 of Milan, will take place at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Born to the late Atlas Hill and Mary Alice Kelly Norman on March 19, 1945, Sue was a homemaker who lived in Milan all of her life. Surviving Family: Sons - Tim Denton and his children, Andy, Amber, and Zach of Milan, James "Jimmy" Denton, Jr and wife Gale of Parsons, TN, Ricky Denton and wife Debbie of Gibson, TN and Terry Denton and wife Cindy of Linden, TN Daughters - Tina Pearson and husband Tony of Pidgeon Forge, TN their children, Shantel, Derek, and Aaron; Patty Denton and husband Randy of Bradford, TN, their children Shawn and Mikayla Grandchildren - 15 Great Grandchildren - 25 Great-Great Grandchildren - 5 Besides her parents, Mrs. Denton is preceded in death by her husband James "Shorty" Denton, Sr., daughter, Diane Laman, and brother, Bobbie Hill.
