Teresa Ann
Dunn
April 22, 1951 – July 5, 2025
Graveside services for Teresa Ann Dunn, age 74 of Jackson, will take place at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 10, 2025, at the Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan.
Teresa was born on April 22, 1951, in Milan to the late Thomas and Nelly Fuchs Hazlewood. She passed away on July 5, 2025, at her home in Jackson.
Teresa's professional life was a testament to her dedication and hard work. As an accounting supervisor at H&M Construction, she was known for her meticulous attention to detail and her unwavering commitment to excellence. Teresa's entrepreneurial spirit also thrived in another area of her life. For 14 years, she ran Medical Rehabwear, a clothing company she founded and operated with passion.
She loved spending time outdoors with her husband, Jimmy, especially catfishing, which became one of their favorite pastimes. Their love for each other and their shared adventures, particularly their countless trips to the beach over the span of 40 years, brought them both endless happiness. Teresa had an affinity for seafood, and there was never a trip to the coast that didn't include a delicious meal by the water.
Above all, Teresa's family was her greatest joy. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, whose love and guidance will be sorely missed by her children and grandchildren. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Besides her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Hazlewood (Carol of Dyersburg). She is survived by her beloved husband, Jimmy Dunn; her children, Philip Dunn and Matt (Caitlin) Dunn of Jackson; her grandchildren, Sklyar Dunn, Bryson and Lily Dunn; sister, Deb Buhrmann (Cornelis "Sparky"); and numerous other family members and friends who will remember her with love and fondness.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
