November 17, 1955 - July 3, 2024. Teresa Thacker McElroy, age 68 of Arlington, TN passed away July 3, 2024. She had a long, honored career as a Registered Nurse. She served as an RN at East End Hospital(Medical Center East) and Eastern Urology Associates in Birmingham, AL; Dr. Mickey McAdoo's office at Milan General Hospital; Case Manager and Director of Customer Service at NHC Milan; Case Manager with Carol Blair at Milan Physical Therapy. She was a faithful member of Rock United Methodist Church in Tarrant, AL; Union Hill Baptist Church in Hueytown, AL; Wilkes Baptist Church in Midfield, AL; First Baptist Church in Milan, TN; and Bellevue Baptist Church in Cordova, TN. Over the years in those churches, she was a member of the choir and served in many, many roles. She was known and loved by so many and was a devoted and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother("Honey").

She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Kite Thacker; father, Ralph Wilton Thacker; grandparents, Jay (Jake) and Ruby (Mee-Maw) Kite.

She is survived by her husband, Sam McElroy; brother, Tim Thacker(Kim); sons, Anthony(Missy) and Garrett(Leah); grandchildren, Lacey, Brody, Carson, and Ben.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bodkin Funeral Home in Milan, TN. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 4:00 PM, with visitation prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Bellevue Baptist Church in Cordova, TN. Dr. Steve Gaines will be officiating. Graveside service/burial will follow at 7:15 PM at Oakwood Cemetery in Milan, TN. For those unable to attend the funeral service, it will be live-streamed at: https://www.bellevue.org.
