Funeral service for Mr. Thomas Alfred Hopper, age 72 of Milan, will be held at 11am on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday evening from 5 - 8pm at the funeral home. Mr. Hopper was a member of the Milan Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a retired educator with Jackson State Community College and he served his country in the U S Army during the Vietnam War. Surviving Family: Wife - Annette Daniels Hopper Son - Tommy Hopper (Juliana) Daughter - Jill Hopper Step Son - Greg Boswell Step Daughter - Beth Boswell Sister - Geneva Browning 9 - Grandchildren He was preceded in death by a brother Herbert Hopper. Memorials may be directed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis or the Shiloh Cemetery Association in Lavinia.
