Funeral Service for Thomas M. Lovett, age 89, will be held Friday July 10, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Bodkin Funeral Home in Milan. Burial will follow at Pisgah Cemetery in Atwood. Visitation with family will be Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00pm and Friday from 1:00 until the start of the service. Mr. Lovett was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church in Humboldt. He retired from Wallington Brothers in Jackson. Thomas is survived by his daughter; Doris (Ray) Bynum, grandchildren; Tracy (Chad) Hicks of Lavinia and Dana (Michael) Lovelace of Atwood, great-grandchildren; Dakota and Kendall Hicks, Will and Alayna Lovelace, brothers; Bill (Louise) Lovett of Humboldt, Robert (Claudine) Lovett of New Johnsonville, TN, and Donald (Pat) Lovett of Gadsden. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife; Mavis Hall Lovett, parents; Joe Sherman Lovett and Ida Jane Boyd Lovett, brothers; Charlie Lovett and James Lovett, and sister; Ruth Lovett Hall.
