Funeral service for Thomas Dene Whitt, age 82 of Atwood, will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 12 PM at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Keaton Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Monday from 10 AM 12 PM at the funeral home. Dene was born on June 27, 1939 in Atwood to Thomas Oliver and Dorothy Jean Stewart Whitt. He was a member of the Howse Baptist Church in Atwood. He is survived by two sisters Debbie Keymon (Johnny) of Atwood and Peggy Horn of Arlington, TN and a brother Ronnie Whitt (Tricia) of Atwood and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Dene was preceded in death by a brother Weldon Eugene Whitt and a sister Brenda Crocker. Memorials may be directed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
