Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Marvin Woodard, age 86 of Memphis, will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, April 12, 2019, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan. Visitation with the family will take place Friday afternoon from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM service time at the funeral home. Mr. Woodard is a member of the Bartlett Church of Christ. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad Co where he worked as the office manager. He proudly served in the United States Navy where he was a Hospital Corpsman Second Class. Surviving Family: Wife of 65 years - Zola Sue Vann Woodard Son - Darrell Thomas Woodard of Cordova, TN Daughters - Sylvia Robertson and husband Jerry of Bartlett, TN, and Robin Franks and husband Steve of Bartlett, TN Brother - Haskel Woodard, Jr Sisters - Louise Stanford of Mississippi, and Brenda Smith and husband Jack of Milan Grandchildren - 11 Great Grandchildren - 17 Great Great Grandchildren - 2 with one coming very soon He is preceded in death by his parents, Haskel Woodard, Sr and Elizabeth Keen Woodard, a son, Barry Woodard, brother, Donnie Woodard, and sisters, Eulene Cash and Opal Lewis.
