Funeral services for Mr. Tommie Kent Gardner, age 79 of Milan, will take place at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 7, 2018, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan. Visitation with the family will be Saturday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Tommie was a member of the United Church of God. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Tommie owned and operated Metric Engineers formerly, known as the Kawasaki Store, in Milan since 1965. Surviving Family: Daughter - Patricia Sue Gardner Malm and husband Mark of Cedar Grove, TN Brother - Paul Gardner and wife Sabrina Carol of McKenzie, TN Sister - Wanda Sherrill White and husband Edward of Sidonia, TN Grandchildren - Nathan Malm, Matthew Malm, Charlie Gardner, and Michael Gardner Great Grandchildren - 5 He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Franklin and Mary Eileen Gardner, wife, Sue Gardner, and son, Roy Thomas Gardner.
