Mr. Travis C. Mayo, age 89 of Milan, passed away on December 9, 2020 at his home after an extended illness. Travis was born in Milan to George C. and Erma Cupples Mayo on March 29, 1931. He was a retired insurance agent with the Life of Georgian Insurance Company and he was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Milan. Travis is survived by his wife Arlene Mayo of Milan, two sons Jimmy Mayo (Carole) and Bob Mayo both of Milan, a daughter in law Rene Mayo of Milan, five grandchildren Staci Thum (Jake) of Greenfield, Chad Mayo (Heather) of Milan, Shannon Casados (Sam) of Colorado, Julie Mayo Curtis (Matt) of Nashville and Jake Mayo of Milan, five great grandchildren Hannah Meade, Samuel Thum, Sadie Thum, Charles Curtis and Scarlet Curtis and four great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Steve Mayo. Due to the current pandemic, the family will be having a private service at Bodkin Funeral Home.
