Graveside services for Mr. Vester Warner Tate, age 93 of Atwood, will take place at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan. Mr. Tate was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Milan. He served his country in World War II in the United States Navy. He later retired from Walmart. Surviving Family: Wife - Mildred Louise Elliott Tate of Atwood Daughters - Brenda G. Tate Palmer and husband Dennis of Millington, TN and Deborah L. Tate Boyd and husband Don of Sugar Tree, TN Daughter-in-Law - Linda Tate Grandchildren - 5 Great Grandchildren - 10 He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Thelma Cranford Tate, son, Robert A. Tate, and two brothers, Marvin Carnell Tate and Billy Atlas Tate. Memorials may be directed to Northside Baptist Church in Milan.
