Funeral service for Virginia Lee Johnson, age 82 of Milan, will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 11 AM at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday from 10 11 AM at the funeral home. She was born in Carroll County on March 25, 1941 to Cortis and Edith Smothers Jordan. Virginia was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Milan, member of the Eastern Star and she was a retired beautician. She is survived by two daughters Regina Bailey (Anthony) of Milan and Deborah Chapman (Chip) of McKenzie, six grandchildren Kimberly Dover, Adam Bailey, Zachary McEwen, Rusty Chapman, Austin Chapman and Noah McEwen and seven great-grandchildren Lynnlee McEwen, Braylon Bailey, Hayden Chapman, Jordan Dover, Tori Beth Dover, Coralynn Bailey and Madelynn McEwen. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Jamie Ray Johnson, her parents Cortis and Edith Jordan and a brother Billy Joe Jordan.
