Virginia Staton, age 89 of Milan, passed away January 5, 2020, at NHC Healthcare in Milan. She was a devoted member of Milan First Baptist Church until her health no longer allowed her to attend. She retired from ITT after working there for 20 years. Mrs. Staton is survived by her son, Stephen Staton of Milan, grandson, Jonathan Staton, brothers, Samuel Pruitt, Thomas Pruett, and Charles Pruett. She is preceded in death by her husband David Staton, parents, Johnny and Kathleen Sayless Pruett, and brother, Johnny Pruett. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
