Milan Virginia Faye Williams, 80, passed away on October 15, 2022, in Milan, Tennessee. A funeral service will be held Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Bodkin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 3:00 pm with services to follow. Burial will be held at White Rose Cemetery in Gibson. Mrs. Williams was born November 26, 1941, in Gibson Tennessee. She was a Class of 1959 graduate of Gibson High School and a member of Gibson United Methodist Church. On January 1, 1961, she married Goat Williams of Humboldt. She was a long-time employee of ITT and H&M Construction Company. She loved the beach, fishing, and the holidays. She was also an avid baseball and ladys basketball fan. Mrs. Williams leaves two daughters, Susan Swygert (John) and Mindy Ross. She is the proud grandmother of Brent Allen Ramsey, Jake William Ramsey, Adam Franklin Swygert and McKenzie Grace Ross. She is also the proud great grandmother of Franklin Garrett Swygert, Russell Bratcher Swygert and Cooper Carey Ramsey. Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her husband Carl Rayburn "Goat" Williams, parents Howard and Naomi Bratcher. She is survived by her sister Frances Hornsby and brother Sonny (Marjorie) Bratcher. The family is thankful for the special care given by Paulette Wright. She has been a wonderful niece.
